VEGANISM AND ECOLOGY

EVERY DOLLAR CAN HELP OUR PLANET

If we have the power to turn another planet into new Earth, why destroy the original one...

Hand in hand

Veganism and ecoology

Veganism and ecology are not two different approach to the saving our beloved planet. These lifestyles goes hand in hand with each other. Here are some examples how meat production and livestock breeding is destroying our environment..

  • Livestock breeding is an environmental pollutant. In fact livestock farming activity is responsible for about 18% of global greenhouse gas emission.
  • Livestock farming places heavy pressure on fast depleting fresh water reserves of the world. Basically we’re running out of water.
  • Farming activities also degrade soil and pollute waterways by introducing pesticides and other chemicals into the environment, doing irreparable harm.
  • This also does incalculable harm to biodiversity of a region, destroying local flora and fauna.
  • Livestock farming is particularly pernicious because of the unchecked and indiscriminate use of artificial hormones, antibiotics and other medications in breeding.

  • 4 000 000 litres of water
  • 3 000 square metres of forest
  • 1 000 animal lives (Yes, it is really that much!)
  • 19 000 kilograms of grain
  • 9 500 kilograms of CO2

Do you still think that you can’t make a difference?
